Hillside Residence

The Hillside Residence is a stunning modern family home perched on a hillside overlooking Lusaka, offering panoramic views of the city. Designed for a family of five, this residence combines contemporary aesthetics with functional living spaces, creating a harmonious balance between form and function.

Our architectural approach focused on maximizing the breathtaking views while ensuring privacy and energy efficiency. The home features large floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the landscape like living artwork, while strategic overhangs provide shade and reduce solar heat gain.

Sustainability was a key consideration in this project. We incorporated passive design principles, solar panels, and a rainwater harvesting system to minimize the home's environmental impact. The use of locally sourced materials not only reduced the carbon footprint but also connected the residence to its Zambian context.
